What You'll Learn
The day will start at 9 am with Peter Johnson, The SMSF Expert, spending one hour on family trusts issue. Including establishing family trusts, the roles inside a family trust and the laws controlling family trusts.
Robyn Jacobson, Senior Tax Trainer at TaxBanter, will give a full tax update covering all the relevant changes over the past three months.
The final half of the day will be presented by neil Jones, the director of taxBanter, spending three hours on a superannuation update covering taxation of superannuation entities with a focus on recent changes.
The event will conclude at 5 pm.

In his role as Director of CST Documents and Founder/Responsible Manager for The SMSF Expert, Peter partners with accountants to provide high level technical support and advisory services for establishing and maintaining Companies, SMSF’s and Trusts.
Peter’s impressive career to date also includes more than 15 years with CPA Australia as well as being among the country’s first accountants to receive an Australian Financial Services Licence.
Robyn Jacobson has been a professional tax trainer for the past 21 years, as part of her 26 years as a Chartered Accountant, initially in public practice. She has delivered more than 3,000 tax seminars and sessions throughout her training career.
Her key role at TaxBanter is the provision of in-house tax training to accountants and tax agents nationally. She also sits on TaxBanter’s Editorial and Social Media Committee.
